I have got both Desk Phones and DECT Phones registered to an on premise phone system.
If a call comes in to the system and is answered on the desk phone, when transferring to any dect phone, the dect phone uses the desk phones caller id and not the originating caller when the transfer is complete.
If a call is answered by a dect phone and transferred to the desk phone, the desk phone displays the correct caller id when the transfer is complete.
Caller A dials comes in from 0123456789 and is answered by the Desk phone with extension 5420 (Caller B), Caller B transfers to a DECT phone with extension 5421 (Caller C). When the transfer is complete, Caller C sees 5420 on the screen and in the call log.
When call answered by DECT phone and transferred to the Desk Phone, the caller id shows up correctly on the screen and in the call log.
