How to activate or deactivate an identity using HTTP

I cannot find an example of how to send a GET or POST to the phone to set an identity to active or inactive.  It seems that this can be done but there are no complete examples.  Just a sample Curl command would be sufficient for me to adapt this to allow automation, and perhaps to then adapt it for other settings.

Hi,

You can change any settings on our phones via HTTP command by using

http://phoneIP/dummy.htm?settings=save&<setting>=<validvalue>

Or, in case you are using any http credentials, with this command

http://user:pass@phoneIP/dummy.htm?settings=save&<setting>=<validvalue

In this case, you can change the identity 1 and set it to inactive using the following

http://phoneIP/dummy.htm?settings=save&user_active1=off

And back to active using the following

http://phoneIP/dummy.htm?settings=save&user_active1=on
