SNOM D315 sends STUN requests at the beginning of RTP stream upon call being answered.

Hi

We have several SNOM D315's and we notice that a STUN Bind request is sent by the phone just before the RTP audio exchange begins.

The STUN request is sent on the same port/UDP stream as the audio RTP stream itself, not to any STUN server.

We have shut off ICE and STUN in the configuration, and yet these STUN requests still appear.

Is there a way to get rid of this?

Thanks.

Hi Michael,

Please have a look at this setting: initial_rtp_keep_alives. It is possible to deactivate the empty STUN packets by setting this to "0".

Thanks

By the way, this is what is in the User-Agent header:

User-Agent: snomD315/10.1.33.33

So, I guess thats the firmware that is running.

Thanks.
