Missing entries in call history - Snom D785 (10.1.33.33)

Hi,


we are using Snom D785 with an extension module with Firmware 10.1.33.33.


Two of our phones doesn't list the dialed numbers or the Received Calls in the call history. It seems that the phone is temporarily able to write the call history:

We dialed the numbers via the expansion module as well as directly via the keypad.


Does anyone have a hint, what goes wrong here? With the old Firmware 10.1.20.0 we did not have such problem.

Hi Marcus,


Does this problem happen when you have already 30 entries in the list? If yes, then you are facing a known issue with version 10.1.33.33, which is related to setting  https://service.snom.com/display/wiki/max_dialed_calls. To solve it:

1. (temporary workaround) Set https://service.snom.com/display/wiki/max_dialed_calls to a higher value, for example 200. If you set this, the issue will occur only after the list contains 200 entries.
Please note that this setting isn't manageable from the web interface, you can change it via HTTP request or via provisioning. In order to change the setting via HTTP you have to send the following request to the phone:
http://Phone_IP/settings.htm?settings=save&max_dialed_calls=200

2. I could send you a test version that contains the fix for this issue, however this would be only for testing purposes, not to be used in production. Let me know if you would like me to send you the link.


This will be fixed in the next release.

Corrections:

SAP-3437: The call history did not add the recent call records anymore if the value of e.g.: max_dialed_calls, max_missed_calls, max_received_calls was reached [SCPP-8820]

I have the same issue on the Snom765.

I'd appreciate it if you could send me a test version of the firmware with the issue fixed.

Hi, i also have the issue on new D785. The workaround with max_dialed_calls=200 works fine. ty.


As it took some time to find this thread anf the workaround, please add a "Known Issue" part on the firmware download page, as you did before on the old firmware download site.

This would make troubleshooting a lot faster!

Works well, thank you.  Additionally the in-call display has been fixed and doesn't show the background anymore when on a call.
