Snom D385 Note "Ethernet disconnected" while connected via W-LAN

Hello!

My D385 phones are connected to the network via WLAN. This works so far very well. However, I always get the error message "Ethernet disconnected".

Of course, the Ethernet is disconnected because I have removed the unneeded Ethernet cable.

How can I disable the error message so that it will not be displayed again?

Thanks in advance

Christof

Hi Christof,

Can you try to remove the error text "EthernetUnplugged" from setting https://service.snom.com/display/wiki/status_msgs_that_show_directly ?

Please note that this setting isn't manageable from the web interface, you can change it via HTTP request or via provisioning. In order to change the setting via HTTP you have to send the following request to the phone:
http://Phone_IP/settings.htm?settings=save&setting_name=value

See more info on this helpdesk article

Thanks
Catalina

Hello Catalina,

yes, thanks it seams to work.

I used the following HTTP request:

http://phoneIP/settings.htm?settings=save&status_msgs_that_show_directly=StatusLineSystemMessage:3 UxmUpdateRequired CallBackOnBusyInProgress CallBackOnBusyAvailable PhoneProvisioningStarting PhoneProvisioningInProgress PhoneHasIncomingPublicAnnouncement PhoneHasFirmwareUpdate FirmwareUpdateFailed PhoneWantsToUpdate VisionConnectionLost PhoneWantsReboot PhoneHasDisabledSipStack VpnActive PhoneHasVpnError PhoneHasLowMemory PhoneRefusedHugeXcapSync CurrentIdentityIsNotRegistered PhoneIsWaitingForCallCompletion CurrentIdentityIsDnd RingerIsSilent AnonymousIdOn PhoneWaitsOnNtpServer PhoneCannotReachNtpServer CallRecordingState ActiveLocations RemoteOfficeEnabled PhoneHasNoHttpPassword PhoneHasNoAdminPassword ServerMessageToBeShownDirectly CurrentIdentityHasVoiceMessages PhoneHasMissedCalls CurrentIdentityHasTextMessages TryParking:5 UxmConnected:5 SxmConnected:5 WlanActive:5 ContactSaved:2 Hoteling:2 HidConnecting:10 HidConnected:5 ExpDeviceCabelingBroken ExpDeviceLimitExceeded

As value I copied the old value but I removed "EthernetUnplugged" from the list.

But the EthernetUnplugged icon is still shown in the display. Is there also a way to remove the icon?

Thanks
Christof
