D315 vs D715 - What are the differences?

Hi all,

I like the sleek look of the D715, especially the white version. However I think I'll go for the D315 on the basis that the physical design is more durable at no extra cost. However, I can't see anything in the spec that says that the D315 has "hands-free" aka "speakerphone" functionality whereas the D715 does. Can anyone confirm this? To clarify, I want a budget handset that has a built-in mic and speaker so people don't need to lift the receiver to talk.

if anyone has any other points to make about the differences between these 2 handsets then please let me know!

Many thanks to all,

Jon

Dear Jon,

D315 models support the hands-free mode.

In the data sheet you can find the speakerphone buttonĀ

Hi Luca,

Many thanks for your reply. Just to double-confirm, the speakerphone will allow proper hands-free 2-way audio? I only ask because we have a number of old Avaya handsets that allow you to hear the other party but they can't hear you because there's no mic built in to the phone!

Hi Jon,

yes, sure!
