Snom 821 3CX Continuous DTMF Tones

We have been experiencing a strange problem with Snom 821 interoperability with the 3CX windows client.


When a call is initiated from the 3CX CTI client and that call requires a DTMF key to be pressed, the key is sent continuously, effectively the muting the outbound caller.


3CX version: 15.5

Snom 821 firmware: 8.7.5.48


3CX support have confirmed the issue, but have claimed it to be the fault of the handset and something that they are unable to support. I have attached a screenshot of a wireshark packet capture which clearly displays the issue.

Unfortunately the Snom 821 is an End of Life product. Do you have any other Snom phones, that are not End of Life, that are experiencing this issue? If so, we can try to determine what the issue may be if it is affecting a non-End of Life phone.
