I'm having issues trying to link a new handset to the base station. We bought two, and one is connected and works fine, but the other refuses to connect manually. Tried waiting for DECT registration to time out, resetting handset, leaving batteries out for 2 hours. One thing I haven't done and I'm not going to is to reset the base station to manufacturer's defaults!
I can't find anything about this using anywhere else, so thought I'd "update" the handset firmware using the usb method. Only thing is the website link is "403 Forbidden" (http://provisioning.snom.com/m9)
Does anyone have that software, or if SNOM read this, can you enable access to the downloads?

Ah ok I think you mean this article here: http://wiki.snom.com/Category:Handset_Update . I fixed the links (replaced the old links with new working ones, please refresh the page), they should work now.
Yep, definitely an M9 - we have two, the first registered correctly, the second doesn't want to.
I can't use those instructions as I can't get it to register with the base station.
My goal is not to update it per-se, it is to get it to register with the base station. I only thought I could re-load the firmware on the handset in the hope that it would force registering work.
The handset looks like it's trying to auto-register.

Well, I've discovered that there are 9 handsets already registered, so I'll need to do a manufacturers reset to clear it and set it back up.
Shame there is no de-registration option from the web interface of the base station...

Hi John,
Are you sure you bought M9? I am asking because the M9 is end of sale since 2014
Update links for M9 are here: http://wiki.snom.com/Snom_m9/Documentation/Online_Manual/Maintenance#Firmware_Update
Thanks
