Prevent users from call pickup via BLF keys

Hello

We try to prevent users from pickup calls from other extensions, because not everyone should take calls from any person.

Is there a possibility to do that? I couldn't find such an option.

Thanks for ideas

Stefan

Dear Stefan,

this is a feature that should be configured on the PBX.

Usually each user belongs to a call-pickup group with specific permissions..

Dear Pietro

Thank you for your reply.

You are right, I can configure this settings on the 3CX Phone System, which works for the Softclient and Yealink phones. But it seems, like snom make the call pickup in a different way.

Information from Software producer:

Note: Snom IP Phones use a different approach to pick up calls which does not require the usage of *20*. However a snom will also be limited in the way it can use this dial code in relation to group membership and the global option setting but not in the use of a directly assigned BLF key which will pick up calls regardless of these settings.

Because I haven't found any information yet, I think we can't block this function.
