In the company where I collaborate, we are currently installing a PBX where we are going to use 2 M700 DECT in MultiCell. After testing, we realised that the failover isn't working, when we turned off the master, the slave wouldn't work properly. How do we solve this problem?
Thanks,

Hello Rafael,
You should not have more than one primary base station on the same installation. The "Allow multi-primary" setting is meant for multi-site setups where the sites can't "see" each other DECT-wise (only reachable via network).
When the master base station is down, the DECT tree recalculation can take up to 15 minutes (even with only 2 base stations). Did you try to wait that long?
Additionally, here you will find a document with best practices for multicell DECT installations:
What if we were working with 2 base stations on master? Would it reduce that time or even eliminate it?
Thanks,
