Snom300 - disconnect after icmp port unreachable

Dear Snom,

we have had a lot of cases where our calls cut without reason.

Looking at the sip trace we could see that the pbx sends the BYE messagge to the phone, so initially we though it was the pbx fault.

When we looked at the pbx logs we could see that the the PBX disconnected the call because of a "channel unavailable"

We then matched the firewall logs and we found what we think is the culpript.

during the call the pbx sends a udp rtp packet to a random port in the port range allowed by the snom300 and that could be see in  the SDP description of the INVITE packet.

The snom300 replies with a "dest-unreachable port unreachable". The pbx then disconnects the call.

To minimize the issue I had to enable symetrical RTP, but sometimes it still happens. I still don't understand why the snom300 replies with that icmp response.

snom firmware; snom300-SIP 8.7.3.19

pbx: sangoma frebpx 7.1
