XML contact list tutorial

I need to have an external xml file with the internal address book. Is there a tutorial to follow? I red the wiki but it's too complex for my level of knowledge.

Thanks.

Do you want your "external xml file with the internal address book" to be provisioned into the internal phone directory?
We do not have a tutorial how to build such a file but there are some examples on these page:
http://wiki.snom.com/Features/Mass_Deployment/Setting_Files/XML/Directory

Like this:

<tbook>

 <number>42965</number>

 <number>16424</number>

 ...

 <number>78371</number>

</tbook>

Okay, that's ok. But when i recall this file from the action url button nothing happens. What could be wrong?

are referring to the snom xml Address book(SnomIPPhoneDirectory)?

If yes, please see the following Description:

No im referring to the xml file you wrote on the last message

Ok, could you explain what do you mean with:

" when i recall this file from the action url button"?

If i understood correctly i need to put the url as an action url in one of the function key.

No, this will not work. In this case there will be no-minibrowser data returned to the phone!

For this case you have to use the IPPhoneDirectory format see the example entioned in the link:
