I have a new Snom M85 handset on which the display goes blank for at least 15 seconds whenever any button is pressed. Sometimes the display is blank for minutes at a time. Occasionally the blue LED blinks when I press a button
The handset originally had firmware version 324.9. I connected the handset to the base station (took a very long time) and it updated the firmware to 355 but the problem persists.
The handset has been charging for more than 12 hours.
I have also tried a known good battery from another M85 handset.
I have one other M85 and two M65s up and running with no issues.
Does any one have any suggestions on how to further troubleshoot the issue?

Cameron,
It sounds like a hardware problem. My suggestion is to RMA the M85 with the Reseller or Distributor you purchased it from, for a replacement.
Regards,
