VPN on Snom D725

I've installed the latest firmware and VPN patch to both a D710 and D725.  I've successfully deployed a VPN tarball to the D710 but the same tarball isn't working on a D725 phone.

The vpn.cnf file contents are below, and the tarball structure has everything (certs and vpn.cnf) at the root of the archive.

Any thoughts?

client
dev tun
proto udp
remote [server IP] 1194
resolv-retry infinite
nobind
persist-key
persist-tun

ca /openvpn/ca.crt
cert /openvpn/client.crt
key /openvpn/client.key

remote-cert-tls server
comp-lzo
verb 3

Ok, so it looks like a misconfiguration on the tarball.

I'm gonna convert this post in a ticket so we can discuss privately.

Hi Pietro

Yes all the files are at the root level of the tarball (the tarball doesn't contain any folders).  There's no connection attempts made to the server, I tried using the netcat server to diagnose the problem which gave me a message similar to the following.

Unable to read or parse the vpn.cnf file.

Sorry I can't remember the specific message.

Thanks.

Hi Ben,

thanks for reaching us,

how the ca.crt, client.crt and client.key are packed into the tarball ?

Those files should be on the root folder along with the vpn.cnf file.

Then what you can see on the server-side logs ? do you see connection attempts from the phone ?

Thanks,
