SNOM 720 doesn't complete transfer.

Hello, dear colleagues!

We use SNOM 720 with UC firmware 8.8.3.32. Not far ago we began to test a new feature - two-step-transfer with using of refer with replaces. It's nessesary for us to see a caller id of a client. But we observed a problem. The phone can't make a transfer. The call scenario is as follow:

1. A calls to B (from PSTN).

2. B answers to A.

3. B holds A and makes a call to C through the second line.

4. C answers to B.

5. B pushes the "transfer" button on his SNOM 720, but there's no connection between A and C. Two lines of call exist.

As I understand, in SIP B's phone must send BYE message after B pushed the "transfer" button. Could you please help me to find out the root of the problem and to understand, how to solve it? Thank you!

B will not send a BYE until after receiving a NOTIFY from A.  Here is a flow chart of the signaling involved in a TRANSFER

Are both A and C on hold after the transfer button is pushed? We would need to see the SIP trace from the phones after this call flow has been replicated in order to figure out what is happening.
