I have purchased a second hand M9r which turned out not to have been factory reset and the seller does not know the PIN or admin password.
I have tried both methods described in the documentation but neither the **0000** code nor holding the reset button on the base result in anything.
The base station boots up fine and comes up with a static IP set by the previous owner so it is not like it is bricked or anything.
There were some posts on the old forum where this type of problem was discussed so I am wondering if someone found a solution.
Snom wants 59 euros to fix it and with the shipping cost that is going to be more than I paid for it.

Hello,
if this device is running an old fw version you cannot reset it via the button.. so you don't have any way to do it..
Best regards,
