Hello everybody ! I try to get my snom-phones (type 821) to connect to my ldap server, but they even don't do a ldap research. I can reach my ldap server with a client software (jxplorer on a mac) and also from my smartphone. So the server should be running fine. I fullfilled the ldap-part in the webinterface as followed: LDAP:
LDAP name filter: (|(cn=%)(sn=%))
LDAP number filter: (|(telephoneNumber=%)(Mobile=%))
Server Address: 192.168.1.127
Port: 389
Base: ou=Users,dc=insider,dc=lan
Username:
Password:
Max. Hits: 50
LDAP name attributes:
LDAP number attributes:
LDAP display name:
Countrycode:
Areacode:
LDAP over TLS: off
Sort Results: off
Predict Text: off
Do an initial Query: on
phone: snom 821-sip firmware: snom821-SIP 8.7.5.35 ldap-server: openldap (linux) connected to a fritzbox 7390 as pbx
The ip-address, netmask and ip-gateway are povisioned by the dhcp-server. The server type support under identity/sip is "default" - if this is useful or needed.
I attache the pcap-trace. There you can see, that there is no ldap-research at all.
Please look some examples at: http://wiki.snom.com/Category:HowTo:Directory:LDAP

Hallo Pietro,
thx for the answer. With the attributes it is working. I didn't realise that it is a must. I also found that the telephonebook in the webuserinterface is only the internal one and does not display any ldap-contacts. I configured a functionkey to display the ldap t-book and now i can see the contacts.
